Euro falls on fresh Greece fears

The euro hits a fresh four-month low against the dollar as political uncertainty in Greece fuels speculation it could leave the single currency.

Running your business as though Google doesn't exist

I never really worried to much about SEO for my sites but mainly focussed on the right content. And i have to see the latest google update brings me about 25% more traffic (for now)

So maybe i get rewarded. :P

But yeah i don't think my sites would do any where so good without google.

But on the other hand if we would not rely on google then maybe users would use another engine because google is what it is now because companies rely on it..

Is Google critical to online success?
isn't it kind of difficult not to have all your eggs in one basket?
This is true. But I look at it like a savings account. You have to keep plugging away taking measures to become independent, even if the time you have to devote to that is minimal.

It is too destructive when Google changes rules, to allow one's entire livelihood to go down the tubes at Google's whim..

Is email dead?

For me, email is crucial. For people who run the largest corporations on the Planet, posting broadly would probably be more effective and time efficient. Why spend time saying things to one person, when you can reach 200 or 2000 or 200,000?

But I'm not the Founder of anything that large, so I'll use email. ha ha.

Is SEO dead?

Google is turning the world upside down lately. Quality content is a strong tool. It's better than nothing. Will it work 100% of the time? Well, there's a lot of competition out there, so it certainly puts the emphasis on being good at what you do, rather than who can get the most links.

Personally, I'm going with the quality content approach, something I always enjoyed more than anything else anyway..
