|
|
Suppose that I have the following code:
Code: |
<a href="home/"><img src="img/index.jpg" alt="" style="display: block;"></a>
|
This image becomes a link. But ... this code creates an ugly line surrounding this image. How can I get rid of it? _________________ Online Education :: Training Forum

yes, that can be ugly, and I always use the border=0 to get rid of it. You would put that right after the image link. Going by your code, it would then become:
Code: | <a href="home/"><img src="img/index.jpg" border=0 alt="" style="display: block;"></a> |

Yes, I think Judel is right.
Some website software like Microsoft Frontpage automatically do this for you. _________________ WIInnipeg.ca - The self proclaimed offical forum for Wii gamers in Winnipeg. |

as you are using inline style why not have
Code: | <a href="home/"><img src="img/index.jpg" alt="" style="display:block; border:0"></a> |
or even better: in your stylesheet have
img { border:0; }
and it will remove the border from any image on your site.
