Might work although you've got to be sure that people will be able to spell it and that it'll not be misquoted. For example I originally read that as "Veronica" as I'd guess thats the closest match my brain could make without studying the word.

You've probably got more idea of what appeals in that market as I've never heard of "vintage" and "urban" clothing. Going by Tracy's site, she appears to be wearing jeans & top both of which probably came from BHS or C&A (if in the UK). If that stuff "vintage" or "urban"? Does this mean wearing jeans is fashionable?

For some reason "VerticalUrban" keeps coming into my head, but I have no idea why. Maybe you'd be best talking to a graphic designer over a few years and see if they can come up with a logo, then you might find that one of the names just leaps out. Eg: Eagle.

Oh with regards hearing of her - nope, never heard of her.

Edit: To prove why you should never, ever listen to me with regards matters of fashion or design, how about this as a logo (all of 30 seconds when Trev discovers he can bend text in Photoshop):

Eagle, stop laughing! Wink

Hi
How about URBAN VINTAGE, OR VINTAGE URBAN Very Happy
You are going to get a lot more visitors to your website if you describe exactly what you are selling in your name...

the name for a fashion label is a tough one - you have to find something that people will remember and that won't get lost in the crowd. What other names have you thought of?

Vernica is OK but I agree it looks too similar to the name - Vernico perhaps...Vinico - combines the vintage...Vinica...

Just out of interest have you decided on a name yet as this was posted a year a go. If so how is it all going and whats the website? I love vintage clothing.

VintAGE

If by any chance you do still need a name you could simply play with the word vintage...see above!....maybe??

Hi allflowerz - I'm not keen on vintage. It is a word that has so many different connotations for different people. What I tried was to see what the Latin word for it would be but could not find a dictionary that had one. So I tried a few more words and for my money the latin word 'Pristinus' had a certain ring to it. It means well thought of or venerable apparently.
