A great deal of me is inclined to agree. There's a lot to be said for being upfront about who you are, what you do, etc.
However, I don't think I'd like to go the whole hog. There are times when I appreciate anonymity, and I don't want to start giving out my mobile number or my home address to all and sundry.
I know some people who don't even care about that much. They'll befriend anyone and everyone on Facebook, they'll stick their date of birth and their home address in there, and they'll even broadcast when they're away on holiday... frankly, I think that's rather naiive.
What's your take on it all?
