I just found out about this today and thought it might be of interest to someone here. Successful applicants get their own office space in London as "zoo residents", plus lots of other perks such as free one-to-one mentoring.

There's no harm in having a look:

Upside: free office
Downside: it's in London

Yeah, I wouldn't want to live in London either, but even so it could be a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

TD are just around the corner from us. Funny that they don't mention that proximity as one of the benefits. Guess it must have slipped their mind Laughing

As for the project, the free office space is an obvious boon, but I'm not all that convinced by the other stuff.

I didn't look all that closely as it's not relevant to me at all. What was it you didn't like about it, Adi?

Wouldn't say I don't like it per se, just don't think the benefits are that big. They talk about the networking potential of talking with your fellow entrepreneurs. Obviously in our web age there is no shortage of that online. You have the 'dragons' but I wasn't massively impressed by them. Again I dare say you could get as good advice from Quora or something if you wanted.

Why does that phrase make me want to throw up? What the heck is a yummy mummy? Bleaurgh!

It doesn't sound very tasty.

I suppose a mummy could be quite yummy if you sliced it thinly, drizzle with truffle oil, and serve along with a little bit of foie gras. Very nice with fava beans and Chianti too.

Do you want fries with that?
