You may consider digital point too. SP and DP have potential buyers and i am sure you can get something from it.
Good luck |

For me Sedo is the obvious one that comes to mind.
I can't recommend them, though, as I've never bought or sold anything on there. I've only used them for domain parking. Domain parking, IMO, is OK in the short term - better to get something rather than nothing - but in the longer term it's better to build even a small website rather than park a domain.
I've only once bought an existing, mature website and that was from someone I met on a forum (like this one, but the other forum has since closed down). The site I bought performed just as the seller said it would, and actually exceeded my expectations.
If I had an interest in buying more sites in the future I would again prefer to buy from someone I "knew". Very quick and easy transaction because there was trust there. _________________ http://britishexpat.com |

Good information here. I hadn't heard of Site Broker before, I'd just looked on eBay in the past, where I've found there's a lot of "get rich quick selling snowboarding gear you don't actually have" type things. All advertised with "breathtaking graphics", and the ability to "choose your own domain name" (ie. it doesn't actually have a domain name associated with it)!
Site Broker looks good though.
Just out of interest, jamesey, what kind of websites are you thinking of buying? |

Re: buying links... the rules on this have changed somewhat since the time of the original post. Google have been clamping down quite heavily on sites that sell (and those that buy?) links for PR purposes. Many of you are probably already aware, but you are at considerable risk of a Google penalty if you buy links without the nofollow attribute. _________________ UK Hotels - UK Selfcatering

I am looking at buying an existing mature website with some decent PR and links. It would obviously need to be subject compatible, or a directory.
Anyone know of a good marketplace or broker website?
Thanks.

Buydomains.com is a good place. Their rates are cheaper as compared to others. It has been recommended by few of my regular clients. |
