I have the following .htaccess file:

Code:
<Files about>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files contact>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files management>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files success>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files><Files about>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files contact>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files management>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>
<Files success>
    AcceptPathInfo on
    SetOutputFilter PHP
    SetInputFilter PHP
</Files>

As I try to open pages like about however, the web server (Apache2) does not process this file as a php file. I presume that I am not configuring Apache2 correctly, but I don't know how, where or what. How can I make this work? What am I doing wrong???

I'd appreciate any help on this.

Hi,

You can try and check this ones..

1)CHMOD your .htaccess file to 666 (usually this amounts to locating the file in your root web directory (using your FTP program), right-clicking on the file, selecting CHMOD and setting the value in the textbox to 666).

2) If you can‟t find the .htaccess file, create one yourself using this tutorial -

freewebmasterhelp.com/tutorials/htaccess

Good Luck!
