I'm looking to see how many of you are coffee drinkers and how you like your coffee?
So if you are a coffee drinker how many cups you drink in a day and how you like your coffee? Question

Used to drink gallons of it, but these days not a lot really - ran into heart racing problems due to the caffine. Oddly however I do drink quite a bit of Red Bull and that's not caused any problems yet.

Can recommend the Wild Bean Cafe's which you sometimes get at service stations. They do good coffee especially the one with lots of milk in it - forgotten it's name off hand.

Yes, I take coffee break everyday.

However, it's 40+ degrees outside now, so I don't drink hot coffee. I just have cold coffee drinks.

No, I don't like coffee. Or tea for that matter.

Someone told me, I might be a supertaster. (I'd never even heard of the term before, let alone known what one is!) There's very few things that I don't like but tea, coffee and grapefruit juice are all things that don't especially agree with me, and all are apparently 'problem foods' for supertasters.

Maybe I'm just special. Razz Laughing

Kind of interesting. From what I understand, you like beer, right? But you're not a big Budweiser (the nastiest beer in the world) fan? Those who are not too crazy about tea, coffee, etc. tend to like this beer if they are beer drinkers, but you seem to be an exceptional case(?).

Actually, I'm not that bothered about beer. I can drink lager, but I'm not mad on it. I don't like bitter or Guinness and the like. I like cider (preferably dry... eg. Strongbow). Some supertasters apparently don't like alcohol - I can't really say that applies to me! I like wine, but I'm not bothered about shorts (I don't like whiskey, for instance).

This all makes me sound really fussy, but actually I'm not. As far as food is concerned, there's very little I don't really like... grapefruit is one (but I can eat it if forced!) and avocado is something else that I'm not really that partial to (but could eat if it was served to me). Those are the only two foodstuffs (as opposed to drinks) I can think of that I dislike.

I have tried everything from snails and frogs legs in France to musk ox in Greenland, and I really enjoy trying different things so, despite how it might first seem, I'm not the fussy sort!

By the way, fTAS, I think it might have been on one of your forums that I first became aware of supertasters....

Paul

Snails and frog legs taste great. I can hear some people saying "Ill ...", but they are some of the finest meat I've ever tasted.

Yeah I drink coffee for like, 7 cups a day.

When I am doing an overnight task, that is when I tend to exceed my limit to 12 cups.

I am an insomniac so, for me, that is ok..

I love coffee, I drink it all day long, maybe 15 cups total during the day. And no it does not prevent me from falling asleep at night. I like it sweet with creamer. Recent studies show coffee is good for antioxidants

I think the fact that I make posts at 4 AM is living proof that I like coffee.
