OK... have a guess... what do you think has been voted as the best advertising slogan of all time?

Post your guess by replying to this post and only when you have done that, click here to see the winner and full list.

Give yourself a pat on the back if you guessed one from the top 20. Smile

It's tough, especially since I know more of the British ones rather than the American ones. Hmm, maybe something from Cadbury's or maybe even Hamlet cigars.

OK, I'll go and look now and be prepared for a surprise.

Oh, I so very nearly said #13! Do I get half a pat on the back? I guess not since it's a case of being close but no cigar. Laughing

Nearly, but not quite. Wink

It's interesting to see the dates of some of those slogans are.

Who'd have thought #6 and #16 had been around that long.

And I didn't realise #14 was as recent as that.

There is definitely a location factor at play here. After all, in some places Heinz isn't as popular for that tagline as Nike is for its own.

I'm surprised I got it but if those are the ones that pop into your head then I guess that's evidence that they are the most effective. I thought there may have been other more popular ones that didn't spring to mind though........

"Probably the best larger in the world" is my guess.

edit: I was wrong. I think my guess is better than "Refreshes the Parts Other Beers Cannot Reach" but then again I've never been good at sales.
