Hello Squidgey
If you have Microsoft Publisher, there are plenty templates you can use. If you go to 'publications for print' > 'letterhead' > 'plain paper' you'll find loads of simple ones you can adapt for a tender - it'll look formal, with a space for your name & business. Just state what it is you're tendering for, in simple wording, & how much you'll charge, with a total at the bottom. Also make sure you say how/when you want to be paid (they will probably pay you monthly on receipt of an invoice). Good luck! _________________ Complementary therapies & stress management in the West Midlands

| Quote: | Dear Mr. Bloggs
Thank you for your invitation to tender for {XYZ housing association}. Please find attached a copy of my quotation.
As you may already know, I have been working in this field for some time and take great pride in my work. If you have any questions or require references to the verify the high standard of my work, please contact me and I can provide further information.
Yours sincerely
Mr. Squidgey |
...and on separate sheet of paper...
| Quote: | Quotation for 8 properties
Each property will receive the following services each month:
- cutting the grass
- pruning shrubs
- weeding
- sweeping paved areas
- removing litter
- etc. (whatever applies)
This will take approximately one hour per property per month.
My hourly rate is £10 (or whatever it may be)
Therefore, for 12 months service, the total cost is 12 x 8 x £10 = £960
I propose that this is paid in monthly instalments of £80 should you wish to go ahead. |
How's this? It's very 'rough and ready' (done in 5-10 mins) but hopefully gives you something to work from... obviously you need to adjust times/figures to something more suitable.
