I will soon be building a new site that will require a shopping cart. I host with a company that offers 4 shopping carts. I have been reading about each, but I am not sure which is the "best". They all have pros and cons. I would appreciate feedback from members who have experience with any of the following shopping carts. What do you like and/or dislike about any of these you have experience with?

Cube Cart
OS Commerce
Zen Cart
Agora Shopping Cart

Thanks.
Jim

Shopping cart is fine, but I think something like this works better:

We recently did a site with OS Commerce:
http://www.dontmuck.com

It is very flexible and modular, which is good for customization. Not so good is the fact that it re-uses common filenames in different modules, thus making it very easy to accidentally overwrite a file.

Of those mentioned, I would have Zen Cart at the top, mainly because it is in fact OSCommerce based and developed for an SEO point of view. This makes it ideal.

Recently set a site up with Miva Merchant, worked well, and integrated well. Was complete within a shor time.

I think oscommerce would be the best because it's free and opensource. It has also a lot of additional modules you can install for various purposes. Also you will be able to chage the aspect of your website in a few minutes by using skins.

If you are interested you can find some skins for oscommerce on my website. We have also a few for zencart.Just follow the links in signature.

It highly depends on your level of experience. Since you are asking the question, I would say Zen cart.

ALL of those listed are free. Oscommerce is great, but personally I would go for the CRE loaded version.

Hello Friends......

1.Use your Internet provider's shopping-cart solution

2. Integrate specialty shopping-cart software with your site

3.Get a free shopping-cart solution

4.Leverage eBay and PayPal

5.Get more shopping-cart savvy

Thanks
